THE PAYDAY


Yep today i got my very first salary for the job i've done at EK, almost CHF500 for 25 hours. But after tax and everything, i got just CHF400 more or less.

Me .. the previous Chief Editor and Content Manager of Kapanlagi now doing the new position, Küchen Hilfe (aka kitchen helper). Yeah, not really my dream job, but here i have not many option. The good thing for worked in gastronomy world is -- i can learn how to cook.

Well .. not really cook, but at least now i know how to make smoothie and bretzel :)

And my smile is getting wider lately, for im not anymore jobless and useless .. im having a job, having my own money (even not much) .. the point is im somebody (again!) ..

So when u read this, always say me all the best .. and pray so i'll have more working hours on Dec .. for it means more loan .. more salary :)

WATER SPINACH AND TOFU



Yesterday i've found water spinach (a.k.a Kangkung) and Tofu (alias Tahu) .. hip hip hurayyy. In Indonesia maybe those things are very easy to find and cheap offcourse .. but here they available only in Thai Shop and cost more than buss ticket.

FYI for ticket buss or tram is CHF1.8, but the kangkung is CHF3 for 200gr and the Tofu is CHF4 for 1 small block. Hiks ..

But anyway im so happy thinking of my lunch today will be tumis kangkung and tahu goreng (stir water spinach and fried tofu) .. whoaaaa .. thats fantastic.

Now .. i have to look for the receipe. So have a good day and hope u will have good lunch as well ...

OUR CONVERSATION ...

Last nite, i insist to talk with my man in 'bahasa' a.k.a my mother tongue. Check this out ..

Me : Siapa nama kamu?
(what is ur name?)

Him : Saya nama Adrian .. *wrong formation*
In bahasa Subject always in the 2 position : nama saya Adrian.

Me : Kamu tinggal dimana?
(where did u life?)

Him : Di swiss .. *correct*

Me : Kamu tinggal sama siapa?
(with who do u life?)

Him : Tutut .. *correct*

Me : Itu siapa?
(who is she?)

Him : Tidak tahu .. *gedubrak*
(i dunno)

Me : Saya istri kamu!
(im ur wife)

Him : Tidak tahu!
(i dunno)

Me : How could u dunno who am i? *getting angry*

Him : Tidak tahu .. how to say wife in bahasa. *innocent*
Tidak mau bahasa lagi! (no more bahasa)

For someone who had lived almost 2 years in indo and even had attended 36h bahasa intensiv class, his skill is so awfull!

BACK TO KITCHEN

Wednesday nite, have no program and bit boring. My adventurer soul was calling to do something. So then i take flour, egg, butter and chocolate.

After few hours .. tadaaaaaaaaaaa .. my very first chocolate cookies is done. Looks good and taste good. I bring 2 boxes to school and .. Fertig .. Finish .. Ludes .. Laris!!!


The first success makes me wanna try again, this time my very fav .. Nastar. After browsing here and there, im struggling to make the home pineapple jam then the dough. And guess what, after waste lot of energy and offcourse bunch of passion, the result is Fail .. Gagal .. Mengerikan .. Horrible!!!

So this is my very first and last self made nastar. It just not worth at all .. my kitchen messt up .. i have back pain .. if i would have known that, i will just go and buy it. Simple and fast!

So thats for now, must go to clean the kitchen:(
