RHOMA IRAMA & BOYBAND (TRUE STORY)

Thursday nite, i was doing my homework accompanied by DRS3. FYI DRS is the swiss most fav radio, it has 3 different channels: DRS1 for oldish, DRS2 for classic and DRS3 for youths (me included).

BTW that nite program is bit unclear. All i know the songs are kinda arabish (or maybe balkanish), but it wasn't too bad till i hear the intro of very familiar song. One second two second and taraaaaa .. i remember! Its BEGADANG by Rhoma Irama cs! Gedubrakkkkkkkkkkk ... (*falling mode on*)!

At the end, the DJ announced the song as the Indo most populer song by indo best boyband .. Whaaaaatttttt?????. For me boysband is something like Take That, Backstreet Boys, etc which contained cute bloke. But Rhoma Irama? Boysband? U gotta be kidding!

Cant imagine Rhoma Irama cs as boysband .. its really out of my mind. Also the best one statement ... Goshhh ... (*take a very deep breathe*). My country has hundreds very qualified bands but why this one is picked by swiss radio .. unbelieveble!

PS: while u online, hit the DRS3. Afterall its a great channel. Dont give a damn with the language, just enjoy the music!

DIPLOM AND INTERVIEW

If i had 5.8 for the pre-test, for the final test i got just 5.5. I can do better (i think) but anyway thx God!

Also out of 10 application i had sent, Mc Donalds say no to me (even im one of their best customer) and BBL Suisse as well. At least KE send me sms to make appointment for interview by phone. We agree to make it after school.

For the preparation, in the morning i re-read my application, its written in deutsch (a.k.a German) and was done by my man. From the top everything was ok, till i found this:

Ich habe noch keine Erfahrung in der Gastronomie, aber ich koche jeden Tag und ich habe das Herz bestimmt am rechten Fleck.

Meaning, I have no experience in the Gastronomie, but i cook everyday and my heart is in the right place. I was laughing like hell why he have to write it. But maybe they put me on the list because of that.

Later when i re-read the advertise, i find out it was one of the requirement. Maybe they dont want to have employee with heart problem. But dont worry, if im not mistaken, i have no problem with heart (or i hope not!).

Shortly, we're on the phone for interview (and FYI, its in Deutsch), here is the translation:

KE : How are Frau Christen?
Me : Im fine and i hope u too.

KE : So what are u doing?
Me : Waiting for ur call. (in the sms i write he can call after 14.00, infact he call at 16.30)

KE : Ok, so i've read that u're Community Mobilizer. Could u tell me what it was.
Me : ##arggggggggggggggh###

F****, he can ask lot of question, but why he wants to know about it?. So then i try my best to explained with my awfull Deutsch skill. It take sometime, but i did it! He ask some more question and at the end he invite me for walk interview on 25th. Maybe he still currious and wanna disscus bout Community Mobilizer :)

I think i do good on my very 1st interview (in Deutsch). Cant wait for the next, but hopefully it will bring my 'tuna karya' (a.k.a jobless) session to an end.
